Dixon Mills Jersey City

Dixon Mills Jersey City

Located in the Van Vorst Park section of Downtown Jersey City, at 158 Wayne Street, Dixon Mills, is one of the largest condo complexes in the city. Spanning two city blocks and 4 buildings, the 467-unit development has a rich history.

Built in 1847, The Joseph Dixon Crucible Company produced pencils, crayons, stove polish and lubricants into the 1980’s. A few years after the factory closed the buildings were converted into apartments, maintaining the brick façade and architectural integrity.

In 2006 Dixon Mills started its conversion over to condominiums. The studio-3 bedroom units have unique layouts, some with 2 levels and private outdoor space. On site security, gym, basketball court, common patio areas, parking and short walk to the Grove St. PATH, make the complex desirable for city dwellers. Our team has sold many units at this community. This condo community will sometimes have apartments for rent. Click here to receive up to the minute listings sent straight to your inbox.
